Introduction
Landscape Architecture & Environmental Design offers multidisciplinary training that can prepare students for the career of Civil Engineering or Landscape Horticulture and Design. It is our mission to develop and disseminate knowledge associated with the protection, design, and sustainable use of landscape. Three fundamental tracks run through the curriculum – engineering technologies, landscape design, and conservation ecology. Students graduate from the department are open to career opportunities including construction engineering, hydrologic engineering, environment planning, private practice, governmental agencies, and land-use design.
